Our process
We have carefully designed a construction/remodeling process that gives you a detailed picture of what happens. This process will give you a better
understanding of how we work and what to expect from your initial evaluation to the completion of your project.
- Step one
Contractor and client meet for FREE in-home evaluation. We will take pictures and measurements while gathering your ideas on how you want your space to look. We encourage homeowners to have pictures from magazines or sketches to better show us what they are looking for. The more information you give us, the more detailed and precise your estimate will be.
- Step Two
We will advise you on what will look good; and more importantly, on what will work well in your space. Using our years of experience and professionalism we will design, plan price, and determine all the necessary materials for your project to be built to your specifications. You will receive a written estimate detailing everything that is included in the price with allowances for items such as fixtures, fittings, floor coverings etc.
- Step Three
We will submit your estimate by fax or email so you will be able to review it in detail. Once you have selected TAIT CONSTRUCTION to be your remodeling contractor, we will schedule another meeting to sign a contract and go over the time and payment schedules.
- Step Four
We will then prepare a final set of drawings and apply for all necessary permits.
- Step Five
After materials are selected, we make sure all products are ordered and properly scheduled so they are received when needed to ensure the project runs on time.
- Step Six
Once the Certificate of Occupancy is issued, you will be given a written warranty. The warranty covers all our work for three years along with any manufacturers' warranties. We will also take pictures after the project has been completed. TAIT CONSTRUCTION will perform a warranty follow up at 36 months.
