Tait Construction was formed in in 1989. We started out as a carpentry sub contractor that mainly remodeled residential and small commercial properties. In 1992 we had the first of many construction management projects including new nursing homes, a bank renovation, a fish processing factory, and a large waste energy plant.

In the mid 90's, we progressed into a full service general contracting company, and in early 1999 moved to the United States . By mid 1999 Tait Construction was up and running again as a full service general contractor located in Broomall Pa and we have been doing business in Delaware County, Montgomery County and the Philadelphia Tri-state area ever since. We have successfully completed projects ranging from large restaurant renovations and additions to small residential additions and remodels as our company grew through positive recommendations from customers.

We pride ourselves in being a full service general contractor and can handle every aspect of your project from design thru completion ready for furniture. However, we appreciate that some people want to work on their own projects, so we also finish to any stage of the project the client requires. At Tait Construction, we do not combine our employees' experience to make up "years of experience" nor do we use terms like "in the industry for 30 years". Statements like this are sometimes used by other companies to trick customers. For example, the concrete truck driver is in the industry, but may not know anything about framing. The owner of our company personally has over 25 years of full time experience building and remodeling residential and commercial properties. After spending his childhood helping his father, a master carpenter, he became a carpentry apprentice for 3 years before starting Tait Construction. This is the experience and expertise we bring to your project. In addition, the owner personally supervises every job to be sure it is done to the high standards he holds for everything he does. He is consistently telling employees "a job worth doing is a job worth doing well".
